AACL participated in 2010 Aircraft Airworthiness and Sustainment Conference (AA&S) at the Austin Texas Convention Center 9-13 May 2010.

Continuing our commitment to the customer, our goal was to provide them with information that aids the aircraft community in anticipating and positioning themselves to proactively deal with airworthiness and sustainment issues in existing and future systems. One main area AACL focused on was airframe wiring systems. We were represented at the FAA training session regarding new rules for assuring the integrity of the Electrical Wiring Interconnect System. Another area of focus was providing enhanced logistics support.

We attended the ILSmart Weapon System Sustainment Training Course which focused on the use of their updated system for providing current availability of obsolete or long manufacturing lead-time parts when DLA stock is insufficient or depleted and after researchers have exhausted all other required options for finding a critical asset or repair facility.

Over 90 organizations exhibited current and future airworthiness and sustainment technology/initiatives which increased the life and safety of military and commercial aircraft systems and enable advanced performance capabilities.
